You want your kids to know and love Jesus.
But family devotionals fall flat. Bible time feels forced. And you quietly wonder — is any of this actually sticking?
You've tried Bible trivia. You've sat through devotionals where the kids fidgeted and dad zoned out. You've felt the guilt of another week passing without a real spiritual conversation at home.
You're not failing. You just need a better door.
"What if the answer wasn't another lesson — but a game?"

The Upside Down Kingdom Difference
It's Not About Teaching the Gospel. It's About Living It.
Most Christian games have a Biblical theme. Upside Down Kingdom is different — the Gospel is built into the gameplay itself. As your family plays, kids aren't just hearing about God's Kingdom. They're experiencing it. Practicing it. Feeling it.
It's designed to create those quiet "aha" moments — the kind that come naturally, not because you forced a lesson, but because the game opened the door.
"It's theology by immersion — not lecture."
"
My daughter hit an Anti-Kingdom card and instantly said, "Mom, I struggle with that sometimes" — no prompt, just rare, powerful self-reflection sparked by a game.

What You Get
Everything Your Family Needs to Begin
A complete discipleship experience — beautifully designed, theologically rich, and actually fun.

The Game Board
Journey through the Kingdom of God — from its beginning to the ends of the earth. Every illustration is intentional, pointing to the story and truth of Scripture.
-
26 Illustrated Attribute Cards
Each card captures a character trait of King Jesus — Joyful, Generous, Gracious, Righteous, and more. Kids discover who Jesus is by playing as citizens of His Kingdom.
-
21 Anti-Kingdom Cards
Meet Lord Trampleton, Madame My Way, and the ways of this world. Each one mirrors a real-life struggle — and gets flipped upside down by the character of Jesus.
-
4 Character Cards & Pawns
Every character has a backstory. Kids take on roles as citizens of God's Kingdom — each with unique attributes and missions that bring the story to life.
-
Hardcover Storybook
A beautifully illustrated companion book — sharing the same art world as the game — that explains the Gospel in a way young children can understand and love.
How to Play
Simple Enough for Kids. Rich Enough for Parents.
You don't need to be a theologian. You just need a table and a family.
-
Journey Together
Move together as citizens of God's Kingdom, racing to carry the Gospel to the Ends of the Earth before the King returns. It's cooperative — everyone wins or loses together.
-
Draw Cards & Face Challenges
Along the way, you'll draw Anti-Kingdom cards — greed, fear, complaining, unforgiveness. These represent the real "ways of this world" your kids already encounter.
-
Flip the World Upside Down
Match Kingdom Attributes against Anti-Kingdom cards to flip them over. Watch the board transform. "The Kingdom is spreading!" — and the Gospel truths sink in naturally.
Watch the Kingdom Spread
Here's what happens when your kids play. They're not memorizing theology — they're living it.
Flip the tile. Watch the board transform."The Kingdom is spreading!"
They're not memorizing theology. They're living it out through play.

-
Draper, Dad of 2
“I really like how talking about discipleship and the Bible is natural with the game… I feel like the game does a great job of the Biblical topics messing with the game mechanic. For instance, the Grace card bumped somebody all the way up to you.”

Hi, I'm Vicky
I Built This Because I Couldn't Find It
As my kids grew old enough to play games, I watched something incredible — they could learn complex concepts through play that they'd never grasp in a lecture. The game table became a kind of magic.
I went looking for a Gospel-centered game that taught theology through the gameplay itself — not just a Bible theme slapped on a board, but something where the truths of Scripture were woven into every card, every mechanic, every moment of play.
I couldn't find it. So my husband Yan and I created it.
If I could give this game away for free, I would. I genuinely believe that exposing children to the good news of the Gospel in a way they can understand and experience is mission work. This is ours.
Common Questions
Everything You're Wondering
Is the theology sound? What tradition does this come from?
Upside Down Kingdom is Gospel-centered and theologically conservative, written for evangelical and non-denominational Christian families. The game is built around the character of King Jesus and the good news of the Gospel — truths that span the broader Christian tradition. If you have specific theological questions, feel free to reach out to us directly at vicky@udkgame.com.
Why is this more expensive than other Christian games?
Because it's more than a game. Upside Down Kingdom includes the board game, a hardcover illustrated storybook, a conversation guide, and a printable devotional — all designed with the same beautiful illustration style. Every detail has been crafted with intention. This is a long-term discipleship tool, not a one-time novelty. Most families find they play it again and again — and the conversations it sparks keep coming.
Why does it take until July 2026?
We're a family-run brand producing our first full production run. Quality printing and fulfillment takes time to do right. We'd rather deliver something beautiful in July than something rushed sooner. In the meantime, you'll receive updates and early community access as we get closer to launch.
What if I order and change my mind?
Reach out to us and we'll work with you. We're a small family team and we treat every customer like a real person — not a transaction.
What ages is this really good for?
The sweet spot is ages 4–12, with 5–10 being the prime range. Kids as young as 4 can engage with the pawns, cards, and cooperative play. Older kids (and honestly, parents) often find the theological depth surprisingly rich the more they play.
Is this good for church or ministry use?
Absolutely. Kids ministers, VBS directors, and children's ministry teams have already fallen in love with this game. It's a powerful tool for families AND ministry settings. Reach out if you're interested in bulk orders.
Six Months From Now, Your Kids Could Be Learning the Kingdom of God Around Your Table.
Discipleship doesn't have to feel forced. It can feel like laughter, connection, and a game your kids beg to play again. That's what we built this for.
